On May 16, 2014, during the Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which took place in the city of Warsaw (Poland), Moldindconbank was awarded "The Most Active Issuing Bank in Moldova in 2013 under The Trade Facilitation Programme". The event was attended by representatives of the EBRD, famous personalities from the banking environment and entrepreneurs who have carried discussions specifically focused on developments and prospects of trade facilitation.

Launched in 1999, the EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Programme is aimed to stimulate foreign trade relations with the Central and Eastern Europe countries, the Mediterranean region south-east and CIS countries. The program provides the opportunity to offer loans and issue bank guarantees for export-import transactions carried out by companies from the participating countries. At the end of 2013, 105 issuing banks in 22 countries and over 800 confirming banks throughout the world were part of the program.
