According to the SEE Top 100 Banks 2021 report, prepared by the International Financial agency SeeNews, Moldindconbank is now ranked 74th.
SeeNews TOP 100 Banks is an annual ranking of the largest banks in Southeast Europe based on total assets held and net profit. The ranking included 100 largest banks in Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Hertzegovina and Albania, being analyzed over 260 banks in the region.
SeeNews TOP 100 Banks data show that Moldindconbank’s assets amounted, as of December 31, 2021, to 1 billion 167 million euros and increased by 14.75% within one year. Another parameter taken into account when developing the study is net profit. In 2021, this indicator of Moldindconbank was 34.2 million euros, compared to the net profit of 20.5 million euros in 2020
It is worth mentioning that Moldindconbank is one of the largest banks in the Republic of Moldova, the leader in several segments of banking services. The SEE top 100 Banks 2021 ranking was compiled on the basis of data obtained from Central Bank reports, National Commercial Registers, financial supervision commissions, banking and government associations, as well as through corporate websites of banks.
