At this moment, the contribution of Moldindconbank makes MDL 2 162 000 to support the efforts of the Moldovan authorities, the authorities of Ukraine, and the international partners in managing the Ukrainian refugee crisis. About half of this amount, 1 132 000 lei, is the contribution of the team and the bank’s customers, who made donations to the special account opened by the financial institution.

Moldindconbank used this money to provide donations to regional refugee centers. In Telenesti district, for example, 122 Ukrainians are accommodated, including 66 children. At the same time, three permanent placement centers for refugees are opened in Balti municipality, with a capacity of 300 people. In addition, 1 000 displaced people from Ukraine receive food and hygiene products. At the moment, their most important needs are also ensured thanks to the contribution of Moldindconbank.

The bank's team also supported the charity event ”For Ukraine – Charity Reception”, organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova and the Ukrainian Embassy in the Republic of Moldova. About 17 000 euro were collected At the event hosted by the National Museum of history in Chisinau, where works of Ukrainian painters were exhibited, including some painted in our country. From this amount, 10 000 euro are intended for the Ohmatdyt children's hospital in Kiev, which provides specialized medical care for children. The other funds will be directed to support artist refugees from Ukraine and the palliative care Day Center in Orhei, part of Hospices of Hope Moldova, which starts its activity in May 2022 and will provide free services, including, to refugees from Ukraine.
