The establishment of the National Bank of Moldova is one of the most important decisions of the Independence Parliament, who founded the national banking system and monetary policy in Moldova and on the basis of which, in 1993, our national currency was launched. In the years 1991-1994 the Moldovan banking system has become the safest and most advanced among the CIS countries.
