For the first time Moldindconbank became the official partner of the national selection of Eurovision 2016. Through this initiative the Bank together with the public company TRM aims to support and promote the talents of Moldova at the European song contest.

As a leading bank with high social responsibility, Moldindconbank has made the decision to help organize the national Eurovision contest at the highest level, which will give local artists a unique opportunity to be promoted nationally and internationally, on the famous scene of Stockholm.

"In the 57 years of the bank’s activity, Moldindconbank managed to develop a rich tradition of supporting our culture and national values, we believe that beautiful initiatives like this, have a real social impact and are contributing to the development of our community," mentioned Mr. Leonid Talmaci, Chairman of the Managing Board of Moldindconbank.

The first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest was held in 1956 in Lugano, Switzerland. Broadcasted for 60 years, the event has become one of the longest running and most watched television programs in the world. The 2016 edition of the event will be attended by 43 countries.

For the 12th consecutive year the national organizer of the Eurovision Song Contest is "Teleradio-Moldova" (TRM). Eurovision 2016 will be held in Stockholm, with the semifinals on 10 and 12 May, and the final on May 14. Moldova will compete in the first semifinal, which will take place on May 10.

We remind you that Moldova’s representative in Stockholm will be chosen on February 27. This year, 24 songs were selected by the Moldovan jury. The final event will take place in Stockholm, Sweden and will take place in the Ericsson Globe complex.
